On October 13th, Colibri Boutique Mall turned into a large area for the multimedia Elge Oralu festival of Kazakh music and culture. The event united all the best of traditional Kazakh and modern cultural industries. All day long from morning till evening, musical flashmobs, discourses on Kazakh music, multidisciplinary installations, and interactive performances as well as master-classes and workshops by famous DJs, designers, artists and other outstanding personalities of our country were held in the program. One of the main events of the festival was the performance of a French rap group Les Gars Du Coin with the soloists of the opera and ballet theater of Shymkent, who risked combining hip-hop recitative and dub with the Kazakh opera and a folk song. The guests of the event were able to visit a pop-up concept market with the participation of Kazakhstan and foreign fashion, accessory and interior designers.
